Inspired by the work of Igor Talkov and Gregori Leps, Piotr Sieklucki** – actor, director, General Director of Teatr Nowy in Kraków – has put together a concert that will be premiered during the Dialog-Wrocław Festival. The concert features hits of contemporary Russian music interspersed with fragments of Venedict Yerofeyev’s prose – all selected by Sieklucki. Petushka’s Moscow is a Russian tale of eternal waiting, of loneliness, neglect, alcohol. The concert features electric guitars, percussion and keyboard as well as the vocalist Joanna Folwarska from Warsaw – she will sing Alla Pugachova’s songs. Moscow-Petushki is the latest production by Kraków’s Teatr Nowy.

“Renata Przemyk Akustik Trio” is an intimate project, in which, in addition to the charismatic singer (who sometimes plays the acoustic guitar, though mostly opts for percussion instruments), we can see and hear Błażej Chochorowski, playing the fretless and acoustic guitar, and Maciej Mąka, playing the acoustic guitar.

The artists choose well-known works, but strip them of the original arrangements; a pure acoustic form oozes new energy; sounds that previously provided only the background, now come to the fore. A concert decidedly more atmospheric than those we know from large concert halls or open-air venues, as a result of which it is full of surprising solutions, energy and virtuoso arrangements.

“With a glass of…, or acoustic meetings with seasoned listeners” is the latest, exceptionally intimate concert by Voo Voo. The Voo Voo musicians take their listeners from their comfortable seats in the auditorium and invite them to sit at the tables… This home-like or bar-like atmosphere encourages people to listen intently to the surprising sounds that the Voo Voo musicians keep finding in old classics.

During the concert we will hear Wojciech Waglewski and Mateusz Pospieszalski in an acoustic duet as well as unpredictable acoustic renditions of Voo Voo’s both canonical and new compositions.
