Dialog Festival
The Festival Club:
The unofficial centre of Festival life during the 6th Dialog-Wrocław Festival will be Klub Lewitacja, just round the corner from Wrocławski Teatr Współczesny (ul. Św. Mikołaja 8-11). The Festival Club is, first of all, a place of informal meetings between spectators and artists, Festival organisers, the press and Festival guests; it is also a place of everyday discussions, evening concerts and all-night parties. The Festival Club is the crucial place during each Festival; we hope that you will be actively involved in its creation! Lewitacja is an air-conditioned venue with a separate smoking area; the kitchen is open until 23:00. See you there! The Festival Club Programme features daily meetings, starting at 11:00, with artists, during which we will talk about (not)seeing, (not)remembering, (not)being satiated, (not)being able, (not)saying, (not)consenting, (not)being free and (not)being accessible. In addition to directors of productions presented during the Festival (including Romeo Castellucci, Alain Platel, Ivo Van Hove and Krystian Lupa), the meetings will feature Dialog’s special guests: Prof. Jerzy Pomianowski, Prof. Erika Fischer-Lichte, Prof. Wiesław Łukaszewski, Prof. Dariusz Kosiński, Jacek Żakowski, Kazimiera Szczuka and Kinga Dunin. Admission to the meetings is free. During all even-numbered days of the Festivals (8, 10, 12 and 14 October) you will also be able to take part in evening chamber concerts by Renata Przemyk (Przemyk Akustik Trio) and Wojciech Waglewski with Voo Voo (With a glass of wine or acoustic meetings with seasoned listeners); Jacek Stefanik will perform in the Festival Club with Los Bomberos in a concert entitled Ćma [The Moth], promoting his first album, while Piotr Sieklucki (who directed Farewell to Autumn presented during the Festival) will perform with the Śmiałek band in a highly original concert entitled Moscow-Petushki. Admission to the concerts is free with prior reservation and on presentation of at least one ticket to a Festival performance.
