Dates: 13–18 October 2025

Venue: Akademia Sztuk Teatralnych, 59 Braniborska Street

Puppet Theatre Directing at the Puppetry Department of the Wrocław Faculty of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków has, for years, combined tradition with modernity, educating artists in search of their own language in the theatre of form, metaphor, and experiment. The productions of three students, presented as part of the accompanying events of the 11th edition of the International Theatre Festival Dialog–Wrocław 2025, represent three diverse voices that strongly resonate in the debate on our social issues.

“Medea,” directed by Marta Bratuś, is a kind of polyphonic female statement that redefines the myth of exclusion. “Cockroaches” (“Karaluchy”) by Mariia Bakumenko juxtaposes the absurd and grotesque of Witkacy with documentary material, searching for a language to express the experience of war. “Execution/Show” (“Egzekucja/Szoł”), directed by Eryk Herbut, is a performance that, by exposing the mechanisms of the media world, raises important questions about ethics, justice, and the limits of responsibility.

Three young artists, three perspectives, three different voices – we invite you.
